Nullvariable

I mentioned on my blog yesterday that I am working for Nullvariable Web Consulting. The name is not exactly the most transparent, but frankly, I'm having a blast. I've been putting in bids for all kinds of websites from an online fashion store to fantasy football database.

Sometimes it's a little bit gruelling, tunneling throughout the internet trying to find projects worth bidding on. But overall I'm loving it so far. So if you're needing of anything done to your website, anything at all, drop me an email at robert@nullvariable.com.

AT&T: Standalone DSL

I just switched today from a regular phone with DSL to standalone DSL. It's also known as unbundled or naked DSL. You have no voice capabilities, but you don't have any charge except DSL. Period.

If you have AT&T, you actually have to call to get it. I can't find it on their website. However, it may not be in your area, even though I know it's available in many different areas.

You may have to fight with the service agent you get this service if you want it. This idea of having a phone line without actual phone service is kind of new to them, so just be persistent if you want this service. It exists!

So why am I posting all this information on it? Basically, I think most people use their cellphones more often now. So I'm wanting to help out humanity and my fellow writers with going even more wireless than you are now.

Some of you may be blessing me for letting the secret out. Others may be cursing me because they wanted an excuse to keep their phone line and turn off their cellphones without feeling guility. To those who are of the latter party, just turn off the cell phone already.

I, Married Man

In case you've been wondering, yes, I am married. Life has not slowed down at all for me, and often times I want to apply just
a little brake-peddle-ege to the speed of life. Right now I'm moving  from an apartment to a mobile home for financial reasons.

Also, I'm working right now for myself in landscaping, for Nullvariable Web Consulting as the Regional Sales Director, and for various other projects as the come up. For instance, tomorrow I'll be installing dry wall for a contracting company. Shortly, I hope to work for Wyche law firm as a courier. On Aug 14th, I begin in-service at BJU as a graduate assistant for the English department, teaching EN 100. In September, I begin my MBA.

Church-wise things aren't any slower: in mid-August the church choir starts meeting more often for the Christmas Cantata; the church's Frontline Bible Club starts back up; and I'll likely be doing some work in the Oasis, in the audio replication and upload, and in the counting team.

Among these things, I'm hoping to finish reading Lewis' Space Trilogy, finish writing my Novel, finish organizing our finances, and finish the thank you notes from the wedding.

If anyone knows of some cloning technology, I'd like to request you contact me immediately because I'm planning on trying that or using an Android look-alike. Seriously, the Lord is good. He gives strength. Everything that's on my plate is on there for a reason, and I don't think it right of me to back out of any of them...yet.

Wedding Song: Walking Together with God

Bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh,
Dust of my own, wonder so fresh.
She will alone capture my eyes.
I love her so. She is my prize.

Head of my home, shield of my breast.
Strong as a stone, in him I'll rest.
I see his toil, come along side,
care for his woes as he does mine.

Refrain:
Walking in faith, looking above,
His Word is truth, it we will love.
Now as we're joined, formed into one,
with upward gaze, we trust the Son.

Graduated

Several years after starting my undergraduate life, I now find myself sitting in a chair with a piece of paper inside of a faux-leather folder. I have graduated.

Next week I'm going to go on from my bachelor. I will be perpetually earning a higher degree in husbandry.

Life is fun, fast, and anything but forever. I came to pass. And I'll pass this way but once to eventually be graduated into eternity.

Graduated to graduate again. That's really all that I'm doing.
